Business days

The Business days are the operating days of the Eshopbox fulfillment center(FC). Eshopbox performs all the FC related activities within business days only.

The business days may vary from FC to FC, depending on the region or state. Eshopbox reserves the right to alter the operational hours and operating days. You will notify usually 15 days in advance.

On the Eshopbox app, you can know the operating days by navigating to Subscriptions > Fulfillment center.

Holiday policies

Eshopbox FC does not operate on holidays. Below is the list of the holiday as per the Indian calendar:

  • Republic Day

  • Holi

  • Independence day

  • Gandhi Jayanti

  • Diwali

  • Raksha Bandhan

  • Other regional holidays like Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Navratri, etc.

    Apart from the above holidays mentioned. Eshopbox will notify you 7 days in advance so you can plan accordingly. You can reschedule the consignment for that time period if you are planning for an inward consignment. Or, if you are expecting high order in a holiday period, you can provide the estimate to Eshopbox in advance.

 Unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the Eshopbox control in which FC may not operate will not be counted as business days. The circumstances can be:

  • act of God 

  • war, hostilities

  • acts or threats of terrorism

  •  riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lockouts or disorder, etc

How holidays impact Turn-Around Times(TATs)?

Eshopbox provides you the TATs for FC activities in form of business days. Let’s understand, with the below examples, how holiday affects the TATs.

For example, if Eshopbox receives an order on Saturday evening. The TAT gave by Eshopbox for this order is “2 business days”. Eshopbox will pack and ship the order before or on Tuesday. Considering Sunday was a holiday.

Another example, If Eshopbox receives the inventory on Wednesday. The TAT gave by Eshopbox for receiving is “4 business days per 500 units”. Here, your receiving will start from the next day. It will accomplish by Monday considering Thu, Fri, Sat, Mon was operating days, and Sunday was a holiday.
