(-Pending-)Orders Overview

Definition:

Order is a request placed by a customer for the delivery of products at a certain location. Eshopbox App helps you in capturing and gaining visibility to the status of your orders. Following are the attributes of the order:

  • Order details

  • Customer details

  • Product details

  • Payment details

  • Tracking details

Orders Actions:

  • Create: Eshopbox app automatically creates an order when:

    • It is placed from your subscribed sales channel or

    • It is created manually in the Eshopbox workspace.

  • Process: Processing the order includes picking, packing and making it ready for handover. This also includes certain documentation like invoicing, labeling.

  • Dispatch: Eshopbox FC has handed over the order to the courier partner.

  • Canceled: Buyer or seller can cancel the order. No further action can be taken on canceled orders.

  • Sideline: Orders which can’t be processed by the FC are marked as sidelined. A resolution needs to be provided against these orders.

  • On-Hold: To stop an order from being processed, you can mark the order as On-Hold.

Status:

All orders in the Eshopbox App are assigned with one of the following statuses:

  • New: Initial status where the order is created in the Eshopbox App. On-hold orders are also included.

  • Processing: Orders which are fulfillable and Eshopbox FC has initiated the processing.

  • Ready to Ship: Order packed by Eshopbox FC and are ready for handover.

  • Shipped: Orders handed over to the courier partner.

  • Sidelined: Orders which cannot be processed.

  • Canceled: Orders that have been marked as canceled before invoicing.
