Events that may incur additional fees
Eshopbox has transparent policies to charge fees for the following activities:
You try to sell the product under the restricted list: There is a list of products that are acceptable as per the Eshopbox Acceptable Use Policy. In case, you violate this policy by sending products other than those that are mentioned in the list, you may incur additional fees for such violation. Learn more about acceptance Use policy.
For example, you send any products that are, or appear to be, restricted by law or regulation. In such a case, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.You continuously get negative reviews/returns from customers: If your store/brand is continuously getting negative reviews/complaints/ returns, Eshopbox is going to start paying attention. You may be suspended for consistent customer service problems or poor product quality. If you exceed 20% of total returns/negative reviews, each complaint may incur additional fees.
For example, the colour of the clothes gets fades after a wash or the bad quality leather belt sent to the customer. If your brand is continuously getting such complaints, then based on the number of complaints, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.Your inventory is in the fulfilment center for a long time (Long-term storage fees): Eshopbox will charge you long-term storage (LTS) fee for inventory stored in the facility. The fees may vary depending upon the month. LTS fees will be assessed on any Inventory aged 6 months/more but less than 12 months/greater than 12 months. This will be based on the Eshopbox month-end inventory ageing report. Refer to the table at the end of the article for the slabs.
For example, you keep your inventory in the fulfilment center for a longer period of time. The inventory is taking extra space at the fulfilment center. Depending upon your inventory age, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.You send mixed SKUs in a single carton: If you send a mixed SKU carton to Eshopbox, this may take additional time to perform the receiving process. This can slow down the operational activities, resulting in a breach in the estimated completion date of inward consignment. You may incur additional fees, based on the number of units.
For example, you send a medium and large t-shirt in the same box with a similar colour. In that case, Eshopbox has to spend extra time to group those SKU for storing purposes. Based on per unit, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.You do not follow the standard checklist before you send inventory: There are several approaches to deliver products to Eshopbox. In case you do not follow the checklist (delivery/packaging/sending inventory guidelines etc), your action may cause receiving delays at the Fulfillment Center (FC). An hourly rate is charged until you resolve all the issues.
For example, the document which you provide at the time of receiving has missing mandatory information. This may lead to a delay in the inbound process. Depending on the time taken to resolve the issue, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.You cancel/reschedule the consignment, multiple times after scheduling: When you schedule your consignment, the Eshopbox team start to plan the storage space for your inventory. When you cancel the scheduled consignment multiple times, this may slow down the operation process. For every such cancellation greater than 5, you may incur additional fees.
For example, post creating your consignment you cancel/reschedule for a different reason. Depending upon the number of cancellation/ re-scheduling after the scheduling, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.You missed the pickup appointment: You may incur additional fees when you missed your scheduled slot for pickup multiple times. You can avoid this additional fee by rescheduling your slot and pick up in that rescheduled slot. Learn more.
For Example, You have scheduled your recall consignment for today. But unfortunately, you missed the slot. You can pick up the consignment, but with additional fees by rescheduling.You send the inventory with rejection higher than 20%: You may incur additional fees when a large amount of inventory is rejected at the time of Quality Check(QC). Eshopbox will charge you if your QC is failed for 20% of the total received inventory
For Example, You have delivered 100 items to the FC. Out of which 25 items got rejected during QC. In this scenario, the rejection limit exceeds 20% of the total inventory. For such rejections, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.You send unexpected/overage inventory to consignment: Sometimes you send unexpected inventory or inventory which are not part of the consignment. The Eshopbox team takes additional time to identify those items. This may affect the receiving TAT for other consignments in the queue. For every such overage item, Eshopbox charges you additional fees.
For example, your consignment has 20 items, but you sent 22 items to Eshopbox, which were not mentioned in the consignment. For such overage items, Eshopbox will charge you additional fees.
