Troubleshooting for Inward consignment CSV

While creating inward consignment on the Eshopbox workspace, you need to follow instructions. You might face errors while uploading your inward consignment CSV. These errors could be due to incorrect consignment information or missing mandatory details. To resolve these errors, you need to download the inward consignment CSV and take corrective action.

Error messages

Below is the list of each error message you can encounter while uploading the inward consignment template.

  • Failed: Invalid CSV template: This error occurs because of the incorrect format of the sheet. Before uploading the sheet, make sure:
    - the uploaded format is .csv only.
    - you have not included additional columns in the file while uploading.
    - you have not removed any columns from the file. You’re uploaded as defined in the template.
    - you have not changed the name of the header, which was mentioned on the template.

  • Failed: Empty CSV uploaded: This error occurs when the CSV sheet is empty. Fill the sheet as per the template format. You cannot upload a blank sheet to create a consignment.

  • Failed: The quantity cannot be less than zero. Make sure the value of the quantity is more than zero: This error occurs when the quantity of the item is less than zero. Provide the correct value of quantity.

  • Failed: The product with the same SKU/ESIN cannot have different unit prices. Make sure you have provided the same unit price for a similar product: This error occurs when the unit prices of the same SKU/ESIN are different. Make sure you do not provide the same unit price for a similar SKU.

  • Failed: The quantity should always be numeric. Make sure you have not included any alphabets or special characters: This error occurs when you provide quantity values with signs or alphabets. Make sure you provide only numeric value in the quantity column.

  • Failed: The SKU/ESIN does not exist on the Eshopbox workspace. Please create the product on the Eshopbox workspace and retry the consignment: This error occurs when SKU/ESIN does not exist. Make sure the product is available in the workspace.

  • Failed: The product is in the draft status on the Eshopbox workspace. The product should be in 'active' status. Please provide the necessary details to the product and retry the consignment: This error occurs when the product is in draft status. Provide details required to create an active product and retry the consignment. Learn more.
