Creating and Scheduling Inward Consignment
You create and schedule a consignment to send inventory to Eshopbox. This ensures that Eshopbox receives and processes the consignment within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA). This article will guide you through creating and scheduling your consignment on the Eshopbox workspace.

Before you start
Before creating consignment on the workspace, make sure:
You have added your warehouse (origin), from where you will send the inventory.
You have enabled Eshopbox Fulfilment Center(FC) (destination), where you will send the inventory.
You have created your products for which you wish to send the inventory.
Creating Consignment
Navigate to Consignments > Inward > +Create Consignment and select send inventory to Eshopbox FC.
Step I - Inventory movement
In this step, you need to mention the to and from location of the movement.
Select the send inventory from. This will show you active warehouse(s) added to the workspace. This is required so that you can keep track from which warehouse you are sending inventory to Eshopbox.
💡 Eshopbox will use this warehouse to create recall consignment. In case there is any items are rejected during quality check, Eshopbox will create a recall consignment for these items.
Select the send inventory to. This will show the fulfilment centers which you enabled. This will help to track the inventory movement between the warehouse and the Eshopbox fulfilment center.
Click on continue
Step II- Provide inventory details
In this step, provide details of the inventory that you’ll be sending.
Download the inward consignment template. The template contains a set of instructions and sample values for your reference. Provide necessary details as per the instructions and save.

Click on add CSV. Select the saved file from your system and click on the upload sheet button. Eshopbox will process the uploaded CSV file. To track the status of the uploaded CSV file, click refresh.
You can see the below screen if the uploaded CSV is successful. This means you have created the consignment successfully. Now, click on the next button.
In case you do not follow the guidelines, you’ll receive an error, as shown below. You can download the CSV file for the failure reason. Now, your need to rectify the uploaded sheet and click on the replace sheet. And again, follow the same process of upload the CSV.

Step III - Schedule consignment
Scheduling consignment will help you to get the slot as per your convenience and availability. To schedule your consignment, you need to provide the following information:
How would you like to send the product to us? You need to select send it on your own. This means you will use your transportation facility to send inventory to Eshopbox.
Enter the number of boxes you will be sending to Eshopbox. This should match the number of boxes printed on the physical document you’ll be sending along with the consignment.
Select the date and time from the slots on which you would like to deliver the consignment. This will ensure a planned and smooth delivery of consignment at Eshopbox.
Select the document type that you’ll be sending along with the document.
- If you have enabled FC on a consignment model, select a stock transfer note/challan.
- If you have enabled FC on a billing model, select the invoice.Provide document number and upload the scanned copy of the same.
💡 Generate a single document against a single consignment.
Click schedule consignment.
A list of delivery guidelines will appear wherein you need to provide a confirmation. This confirms that you will follow all the guidelines while delivering inventory at the Eshopbox.

💡 In case you do not follow the delivery guidelines, Eshopbox might refuse to accept the consignment. Or, there might be delays in processing your consignment.
You can also skip the scheduling consignment step and perform it later. To perform this later, go to Consignments > Inward, where you can access all your inward consignments. Select the consignment you want to schedule, and you’ll be navigated to step III. Fill out the required details and click on schedule consignment.
Re-Schedule Consignment
If you have missed the slot or want to change the date and time, you can re-schedule your delivery appointment. To reschedule, go to Consignments > Inward. Select the consignment which you wish to schedule. You will redirect to the track page. Click on re-schedule consignment and provide the details.
All the details are prepopulated; you can edit them. Click on schedule consignment.
Step IV - Consignment Awaited
The consignment which you schedule and needs to deliver at the Eshopbox. Also, you have to provide the below transporter details:
Who is the transporter?
What is the courier or Driver’s name?
What the vehicle or tracking number?
Click on submit.
