(-Final-) Cloning Fees

Fee can be cloned in case you want to create a copy of an existing configured fee. This functionality saves time as you need to provide fewer details. In this article, you will learn how to clone a fee.

Before you start

  • You should have configured fee from which you want to copy the charge rules.

Clone a Fee

  1. Go to User > Settings > Fee.

  2. Click on the clone icon against fee from which you want to copy the charge rules.

3. Select the portal for which you want to create fees. All integrated portal will be available in this drop-down list. This field is not editable.

Note: If portal for which you want to configure fee is not available in the drop-down, select custom.

‌4. Fee Name: For the portal selected in the previous step, you will see a list of applicable fee. Select the fee name from the drop-down list. This will help you to track your reconciliation as the name of payable will be same as the fee name provided here.

If the fee you want to configure is not available in the dropdown list, click on add custom. Provide the name of fees. This field is not editable.

Note: Fees that are already configured will not appear in the dropdown. For custom fee, the fee name cannot be the same as already created fees. You also need to provide the exact fee name which you receive in the payout report for custom fee.

5. Validity Period: You are required to provide duration for which this fee will be applicable. You can change the validity period while revising a fee. The following options are available.

i. Definite Period- If the fee that you are configuring will be applicable till a specific date.

ii. Indefinite Period- In this case, you are required to only provide the start date of the fee.

6. After filling all the information, click clone. This will create a copy of the selected fees by copying all its charge rules.

5. Click on the fee to view configuration.
