Audience

Before you start

  • An EPIC must have been created under the current month’s Version in your Jira Software project.

How it works?

  1. When you create an EPIC, it gets created with the default status, “Plan

  2. You will create Tasks related to the EPIC.

  3. You will start working on the Tasks, which involves writing documents such as Help Articles, PRFAQs, planning the user journey, analysis and implementation of the user story, under this EPIC

  4. You will create a list of User Stories that will come under this EPIC and add them in a tabular format in the Epic’s description

  5. Now, you will transition to the status, “Code” from “Plan“ when you start working on any one User Story under this EPIC.

  6. After all the User Stories under an EPIC have been completed, you will transition to the status, “Test” from “Code

  7. If the demo is successful, the EPIC is completed and its status is transitioned to “Deploy

  8. If the demo is unsuccessful, the EPIC is transitioned to the status “Code
