Before you start working on a Project
Before you get started with destroying bugs and releasing new features, ensure the following;
You have a project to work on in the Eshopbox Jira Software
You have access to that relevant project, your working on
You are aware of the team members and collaborators your working with
You are aware of your mentors you can reach out to
You have attended your first SCRUM/Stand-up call
The Version for the month is created and you have got a download of the monthly goals from your project manager
For the goals you will be working on, Epics must be created first and allocated to their respective Versions. In other words, there should be an Epic for every User Story and Task.
A Sprint is created for the project you are working on and you are added to the relevant Sprint Board.
Firstly, you are required to create Tasks, which cover the planning and implementation for an Epic’s goal, assigned to you
You will be creating User Stories only when the analysis is approved and you are at the implementation phase
You are required to ensure the User Stories worked upon are part of the current Sprint
You are only required to make Sub-tasks to accomplish the User story goals.
While working on the Sub-tasks, you are required to change the status of the issue types alongside, in order to indicate your progress.
