Tracking Contacts

After you create your contacts, start engaging with them at the contacts' main pane.

In this article, you will learn how to:

  • View your contacts list

  • Track detailed activities of your contacts.

  • Download your contact information,

Before you start

  • Make sure you have successfully created contacts.

View Contacts

  • For contacts, navigate to Settings > Contacts.

  • Here you can view all contacts created in your workspace. You can also:

    • Sort contacts by created date, last activity date, or their names.

    • Filter contacts based on their on attributes like:

      • Name

      • Type

      • City

      • State

      • Country

      • Custom fields

      • Status

      • Created date range

  • Eshopbox app groups your contacts based on their types. There are only three following types:

Type

Description

Vendor

Supplies you some inventory or provide you with services or products to help you operate your business. It will be available while creating consignments, order as well as configuring fees.

Collection Agent

It helps you to safely process or/and collect payments for your orders. It will be available while adding payouts

Customer

Someone who frequently places orders for your products. It will be available while creating Orders.

  • To view a contact, apply a filter using the contacts name. Once filtered, you will view that particular contact with below details:

    • Name

    • Type of contact.

    • Email address selected as your primary way to connect.

    • Status of the contact

    • Last Activity Date

    • Created Date

 To view detail of the contact, click their name. This will bring you to their detail page. Here you can view:

  • all information provided while creating the contact, and

  • track activities of the contact.
