Reconcile Flipkart Payments

Reconcile Flipkart Payments

Flipkart collects payments from customers and deposits them in your bank account. The orders included in the deposits are not necessarily in chronological order. Deposits also include the following:

  • Refunds made to customers due to returns and cancellations.

  • Deductions for various Flipkart fees like commission, shipping, payment collection, and more.

Reconciling your Flipkart payments using Eshopbox will help you to:

  • Track payments received and refunds deducted for each Flipkart order.

  • Highlight overcharged fees based on the agreed rate card with Flipkart.

This article will outline steps to set up Flipkart reconciliation with Eshopbox.

Configuring fees

Fees feature helps you configure the rate card agreed with Flipkart. Eshopbox will then use it to reconcile actual deductions made from your Flipkart deposits.

Rate card of fees applicable to your Flipkart orders is available in your Flipkart seller hub. Click on the link and enter the product category with a date for which you want to view applicable fees. You can also navigate to the fee page by clicking on payment > payment overview > under the ‘about payment’ section, click on Flipkart rate card.

Flipkart classifies each seller into the Bronze, Silver, or Gold tier based on the sales and fulfillment performance. As you move up the tier from Bronze to Silver or Gold, you are eligible for specific discounts on your Flipkart fees. To know your seller status. navigate to home > and check your position in the top left section.

Following are handy guides that will help you configure Flipkart fees in your Eshopboox workspace.

Note that Flipkart may change the fees from time to time. Flipkart generally sends an update on your registered email address whenever there is a revision in the fee. You should edit Flipkart fees in your Eshopbox workspace to record such modifications.

Set transaction rule

The transaction rule helps you configure the payment due date for every order. Flipkart deposit payments to your bank account weekly. The number of days after which you receive payments for an order depends on the payment mode (COD, Prepaid), delivery date, and your seller tier. Although it is difficult to include all such conditions while setting transaction rules, the following configuration is good enough to highlight Flipkart orders due for payment.
