Tracking Automation Rules

The automation rule list gives you an overview of each rule, with the most important information such as the name, trigger, action, and status of each rule.

In this article, you’ll learn how to view the automation rule, and what actions you can perform there.

Navigating to Automation Rule Pane

  • Go to Settings > Automation Rule

  • Cool, you’re there! Read on to learn about the actions that can be performed. Here, you can:

    • View the list of configured automation rules.

    • Filter the rule list by the automation name, trigger, action, and status.

    • Sort the automation rule by its creation date.

    • View Logs of all the rules that are triggered in the past with details like time and rule which is triggered and on which objects. This helps you to know all the activities that are taking place because of the configured automation rule.

    • Edit automation rule to make changes to the automation rule by adding or removing the filters.

    • Mark Automation rule as active/inactive.

  • This automation rule is enabled and will work whenever the trigger is satisfied.

  • By default, when a rule is created it is marked active. You can mark a rule inactive while editing a rule.

Inactive

  • This automation rule although configured but will not work even when the trigger is satisfied.

  • You can mark this as active while editing the automation rule.
