Creating LinkedIn Profile

This article illustrates what LinkedIn is, why we need to create a profile and its impact on Eshopbox.

LinkedIn is a social networking website for professionals. It is the world’s largest professional network with millions of members. Everybody is interested in taking their professional life more seriously by looking for new opportunities to grow their careers and connect with other professionals.

Eshopbox encourages our employees to create their LinkedIn profiles as we would want all of you to be associated with our organization, even on the professional networking front.

• Get connected: LinkedIn was built for networking, and it’s still a useful networking tool. Eshopbox encourages all to communicate with professionals of your interest and to use your connect requests more strategically to engage and build relationships with influencers in your market space.

• Build connections for your organization: LinkedIn is a complete networking site where our employees can build up connections, promote Eshopbox and mention the various work experiences.

• Gather feedback: LinkedIn is a site where one gets to learn a lot from professionals. Thus our employees being associated with Eshopbox on a networking site would be beneficial for us. We would be receiving suggestions as to how we could improve ourselves as an individual and an organization.

Guidelines that Eshopbox requires you to follow when you set up profile:

1. If you donot have a LinkedIn account make sure that you create one.

2. Mention all your basic details eg, first name , last name, date of birth,place where you are from etc.

3. Mention all your educational qualifications

4. Mention all your work experiences, whether it be an internship or any learning experience,skills and endorsements if any.

5. Make sure to have a profile photo set, which should be a professional one.

6. Mention your profile summary in a descriptive manner.

7. Being an employee of our organization Eshopbox would want you to mention the job details i.e. mentioning that you are working with Eshopbox.
