Eshopbox lets you create multiple versions of your integration. The existing version can be cloned to add new functionalities.This functionality saves time as you need to provide fewer details. New version lets you test and build new features without interrupting existing users. You can then release the new version and migrate all of your users to the new version. In this article, you will learn how to clone a version.

Before you start

  • Depending on the requirement, you need to know which version you’ll clone.

Clone a version

  1. Go to App > Select app. All your app’s versions will be visible on this page.

  2. Select the version to clone from (usually the most recent version, unless you want to roll back recent changes). 

  3. Choose what type of version you want to create:

    1. Patch: A x.x.1 version, typically used to fix bugs and issues in existing integrations

    2. Minor: A x.1.x version, typically to add new minor features to existing integrations

    3. Major: A 2.x.x version to launch a full new version of your integration with new triggers or actions

  4. Click Clone.
